A woman from the centre for woman’s justice was interviewed. She said that following Warboys, where similarly police failed to investigate, the police are adopting a new approach where they investigate the attackers following a complaint of sexual assault, rather than the victim.

It feels like we’re living in some dystopian nightmare, why has it ever been the case that a victim is investigated rather than someone accused of an assault? How is it now that the police are starting to change after they’ve lost a case where they’ve been found to have denied women their human rights. And how is this one line on the news and not causing riots?
