I don't see that this level of lying and secrecy can possibly be sustained. I think it's being maintained by only desperate folk looking for a safe exit or retirement, true believers, who aren't safe to cut up their own food never mind children's bodies, and monsters.

Thank you for sharing. It sounds like the wheels are somewhat falling off as more health professionals seek to distance themselves from what has been referred to as "tooth fairy science" on a different thread.

The AAP is increasingly sounding like a group of Scientologists, where the top-down ruling of how to think and speak governs everyone, you have to pay to keep a seat at the decision table and you're cast out if you dissent from the prescribed doctrine.

As with Scientology, the science in the gender identity doctrine reads like somewhat of a fantasy novel if you're not a believer yourself - in thetan or gender identities respectively.

It’s disgraceful and worrying that so many official regulators have battened down the hatches rather than engage in the scientific method on this issue but this article also shows that more voices are joining the calls for transparency and reevaluation of the standards of care. That’s a hopeful development.

I am more and more convinced that there will have to be serious sanctions for those medical and education professionals who allowed ideology to override good practices in dealing with patients/pupils presenting with ‘gender dysphoria’. I don’t think as a society we can let people in trusted professions away with this behaviour and retain trust in our institutions.

A fascinating read, it's seems like more of the same a handful of zealots stream rolling over everyone who disagreed with them.

Talia's comments are all being downvoted, which is a bit sad in some ways. I mean yes, directly accusing someone of child abuse sounds pretty libelous but surely it's worth an upvote on entertainment value alone?** "Corrupt parasite" and "evil stupidity" were good value too, amongst others.

I believe Carti transferred to the Telegraph as I recognised the consistent batshit level of comments. There they used a name (can't remember what it was) and claimed to be a therapist at the Tavistock?

I was reading about the Lucy Letby enquiry and pondering which of the senior trans zealots will be held to account for what's been done to children. I decided that it would likely be senior medics - the GIDs management, endocrinologists and hopefully the Heads of various NHS Trusts. Plus perhaps heads of certain charities, some civil servants who took the Stonewall shilling and did their bidding in defiance of the rules about political impartiality along with professionals who helped to drive a wedge between children and their parents?

Just a thought.

There was a little discussion of this in the Scottish parliament recently wrt 'gender' care being passed to GPs.

I suppose 'culpable' is a word we can expect to hear more and more.

If I remember correctly, the MSP on the committee who is a GP was most definitely against that idea, for many reasons but accountability and responsibility for prescribing was one aspect of his objection, and I can’t say I blame him for being wary.

Wow, I really hope that claim was just a bogus appeal to authority on their part to win internet arguments.
