I've mentioned this in other threads but it now feels like it needs a thread of its own.
The campaign for a Smartphone Free Childhood is gaining momentum:

I wish something like this had existed when we first got phones for our children. Yes, we locked lots down and had strong controls but if I knew then what I know now, we'd have probably gone for a "dumb" phone.
However, I also know that phones are only a small part of the problem. Children have access to all sorts of stuff and all sorts of people via gaming chats, website forums and more.
Anyway, it's still a great campaign and helpful in the whole conversation about the safeguarding of children in the context of gender belief (being positioned as fact) and the gro0ming of children, where they are being encouraged to see anyone (including their own parents) who doesn't affirm their identity as a bigot who wants to harm them.
