Staffordshire county council are providing free period products for women but... they don't mention women.
I have just heard all about this scheme on local radio and I am pretty sure the word 'people' has been dubbed over a councillor saying 'women'.....

Funnily enough they don't have a problem saying 'men'

Thats what incenses me

i think the people bit is fucking stupid at times

but it’s obviously not incusive…its only ever aimed at woman

Well spotted! Perhaps you capfuls email them for an explanation?

It’s so offensive and enraging, I wish they could see that. Time to start talking about people needing to get their prostate checked, or people needing to examine their testicles for lumps.

Maybe in the modern world we should be offered a choice! I think I'd rather get my testicles checked than experience a period!

Every time I have a mammogram, and my breasts are being squeezed uncomfortably between two metal plates, I wonder - if they were screening for testicular cancer, is THIS the method they'd use?😬

Love to see it if they did!
