I'm struggling to see why this is a good thing. It's not a good thing. I didn't get the clear impression that the OP thinks that it is, but I admit that I have no idea what "Slowly and then a bit faster and faster" means.
I also wondered why this was posted on FWR, rather than, let's say, politics - but I do recognise that there is negative impact here to lesbians (and bisexual women in same sex relationships), so there is a feminist element. (And MN does not have a general LGBTQ2IA2+ board, only LGBT Parents and LGBT Children.)
Florida under Ron DeSantis is a bit like Italy under Silvio Berlusconi: the state degrades and attempts to control everything to the detriment of its citizens, but the cities and local areas remain strong and defiant - and this article does acknowledge that when they say visitors should also understand that many Florida cities are extremely inclusive, with gay elected officials and LGBTQ+-owned businesses, and they don't reflect the policies coming from state government, Blackburn added.
This is shit(e) news, but in helps reinforce the point that the sooner DeSantis goes, the better for women.
