Examples of people campaigning to add dodgy stuff to the Q+?

I know there are examples of people who have campaigned or written positions advocating for “minor attracted persons” 🤮 and bestiality🤮 (someone wrote an academic paper on it?) to the initialism but I can’t remember what threads. Can anyone recall the sources of examples?

I think it was Peter tatchell who made the comments about minors, you'd be able to find something via google.

There was a university lecturer / Mermaids trustee

Some other stuff is harder to find because Google is hiding it in search results, I suspect.

I'm no Elon Musk fan but before he took over twitter there were loads of MAP ( minor attracted person) and NOMAP (non offending minor attracted person) accounts attempting to align themselves with the alphabet. I wish I'd documented evidence of these now.

There was also writing about this and the problem of MAPs designing their own pride flags. I learnt about it from a trans writer, writing from a pro trans ideology (but anti paedo) point of view. Again something I wish I'd saved as I can't now find it.

There's a problem when these serious things are being hidden (and sometimes deleted on MN) because of this weird climate where one cannot criticise a single thing related to trans. Nobody is saying all trans people are paedophiles! But there are loopholes in the current ideology that let paedophiles in. You'd think society would learn after Saville and countless other instances of people abusing their special positions.

Thanks for replies so far, but I am meaning more specifically those who say the “+” or the Q includes or should include paedophilia or other illegal paraphilias. I know there are dodgy people under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, but I am pretty sure there are some dodgy people campaigning for dodgy ideas to be under the umbrella too?

Gayle Rubin, one of the founders of Queer Theory, advocated for "intergenerational sex." We all know what that means.
Michel Foucault and Pat Califiia, also influential in Queer Theory, advocated for the same thing.
Drag Queen Story Hour was initiated in the US as a 'fun' way to promote Queer Theory to young kids.
I believe Rubin has since backtracked on the MAP element of Queer Theory, but not sure how current QT advocates intersect with the MAP thing.
Agree with a PP that Julie Bindel is a good resource on this subject

It seems crazy that suddenly it's never out of the news, at a children's library here, a primary school there. Luckily the BBC keeps us up-to-date with all the latest goings-on! 🙄How the hell have we sleep-walked into this? Because we've gone along with fools like the Mayor of London, I suppose.
