Anyone watched this? (On Now TV) about Pharma companies causing the opioid crisis and harming millions of people. The parallels with so called trans health care are quite striking.....Drs were accused of being 'opioid phobic' if they didn't want to prescribe them. (See now accusations of being transphobic if not fully behind the notion of transgender people.) The risk of the opioids being harmful were completely withheld from the public for as long as possible and people were themselves blamed if they overdosed......just like de transitioners are accused of not being true trans if they regret the hormones & surgeries they had. Why is history repeating itself so soon after such an awful medical scandal?

Yes. The opioid scandal was bad enough, but the damage done by the medical profession’s compliance with transactivism is far worse. Especially the effects on children and teenagers.

There’s lots of Money to be made, in both cases

Yes, it told me a lot I didn't know about pharma.
There was a good discussion on this board about Dopesick (BBC iplayer) too

I haven't watched it but am convinced that the trans narrative is being pushed by the pharmaceutical industry to fill the income gap left by the collapse of the opioid boom. And we know from the opioid boom that human misery is not regarded as important by the industry - profit is what matters, and any lie that promotes profit is acceptable.

I am also sure that the influence of pharma on Irish politicians and media is wholly harmful (it is one of our biggest industries, drives 50% of our exports, we are the biggest pharma exporter in the EU).
