And the homophobia I see.

Between the homophobia and the misogyny, that's quite depressing. The title is 'A real Birmingham family'. And they are a real Birmingham family. It doesn't make theirs the only way family can work, and that's the point isn't it? It's celebrating an outside the norm family set up, to make the point that there are lots of ways to make families. I like it a lot.
