Scotland to acknowledge concussion difference in males and females www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othersports/article-13493101/Scotland-one-countries-world-acknowledge-difference-males-females-concussion-protocol.html?ito=native_share_article-nativemenubutton

They're so nearly there... So nearly...

'Though more research still needs to be done in the field of female concussion, a growing body of evidence points to a difference between the sexes, in terms of impact and recovery.'

If they want to protect women from concussion then single sex contact sports are even more important.

Plus they have a duty of care to any transmen to ensure that they undergo the correct sex specific return-to-play protocol.

The rugby blogger world is bizarrely TRA and sex-denialist. Trans flags a gogo. It'll be interesting to see how they take this: player safety improvement (good), sex realist (blasphemy!!!).

Maybe women just need to try harder to be less affected by concussion.

Or perhaps sex isn't a social construct after all 🤔

But Swansea Uni studied this in 2020.

Yeah, but it's just the brains of women and girls. Not urgent.

Siobhan Cattigan died after multiple concussions in November 2021. The SRU failed her, and then afterwards they disgracefully failed her family.
