So much to say about this article I don't know where to start.
Pronatalists believe that the decreasing birth rate is the biggest threat facing humanity and more should be done to incentivise giving birth.
This couple run a charity dedicated to supporting pronatalism. They practice "progenics" - their children are conceived by IVF and all screened to maximise their IQ and health.
They want to have at least 7 children but the mother has to have C sections so when her womb gives up, if they haven't had 7 kids they will use a surrogate.
She doesn't really like children but fully supports her husbands pro-natalist approach, she looks after them for 18 months then he takes over. But they have also outsourced child care to the tenants of the house they own next door in exchange for rent.
The man thinks this will be the next iteration of the American right after Trump.
I found the whole thing mind boggling. Very anti-woman, with the mother putting her health at risk by constantly doing IVF/being pregnant/giving birth. Their kids don't seem like they are going to have a happy child hood either. But with people like Musk and Altman pushing it, are more and more women going to choose this lifestyle?
