Thanks for the update. I am a very quiet activist so this is one way of doing something useful 🙂

Thanks OP for doing the work on this. Depressing to see so many cases still popping up even after all the victories we've had. Organisations should start reading newspapers instead of listening to Stonewall!

TrainedByCatsToBeScathing · 29/05/2024 15:55

Thank-you I was wondering what was current. There doesn’t appear to be a garden for the nurses who don’t want a male in their changing room, does anyone know where that might be?

Especially against places like the OU, who you'd think would have had another look and been inclined to settle after the blistering Phoenix judgement.

'Metanoia institute' always gives me the giggles. Sounds as if they are paranoid about everything!

Thanks for the list, @anyolddinosaur I struggle to keep track of what is current.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 29/05/2024 16:38

Thanks for the heads-up, it's a good month for a bit of extra gardening.

anyolddinosaur · 29/05/2024 18:56

If the nurses are looking for financial support I cant find it.

It may be the nurses are being supported by their union.

I hope they are and they should be but unions have been so appalling on women’s rights I’m not sure unions have backed any women yet

anyolddinosaur · 30/05/2024 12:53

They should be supported by their union - but I doubt it.

Last time I checked the Nursing & Midwifery Council was full on TWAW. Not sure about the other nursing one, but I wouldn't be hopeful given the general NHS and union cultures.

KohlaParasaurus · 30/05/2024 13:13

Thanks for this. As someone whose voice is very limited the most useful thing I can do is offer carrots to those who are in a position to shout.

YourPithyLilacSheep · 30/05/2024 13:14

Thank you so much for this list. I'd lost track of where various campaigns are planting gardens.

ComfyButFrumpy · 30/05/2024 15:38

The irony doesn't even make me smile anymore

notsorighteousthesedays · 30/05/2024 16:03

Just planted a seed for Emma. It's so frustrating - I always felt the Green Party was my natural home but as I am a woman it just isn't, and I am beginning to think it never will be!😥

anyolddinosaur · 31/05/2024 09:46

You'd hope that the unions might change their attitude post CASS - but I wouldnt hold my breath.

I suspect in the run up to an election any cases specifically involving political parties get delayed.

Well the PCS certainly hasn't.

I dont usually update this in between months but I'm going to add Linzi Smith - Banned and spied on for my beliefs because stalking someone to ban them from a football club is ridiculous. Letters before action have been sent.
