I find this really disturbing:

Such cognitive dissonance with all the 'you are loved for who you are' messaging and hearts.

What were the organisers thinking? Public money from Arts Council of course.

It would be different in a gallery that people can choose to visit, but this is a massive public mural in a prominent position. Women who've had mastectomies because of cancer will walk past it every day (including my family members). So will girls being bullied for not being feminine - this just reinforces the message that something is wrong with their bodies.

Loads of families bring their kids to look at this street art festival - that's actively encouraged by the organisers.

Upfest starts with big pink tease on North Street

Lead artist Mister Samo has been getting busy ahead of next week's new-look street art festival

Depictions of women in street art are so often 'eyelash girls'... So now it's that or mastectomy?

That the ideology that brought us women's penis / ladydick couldn't manage mantits or misterboobs tells you everything you need to know, so long as your brain cells are free to operate.

Precisely.
