That's very good.
It was written by a man, so I don't think he's aware of the psychological effect of constantly being told you are worth less. Women seem to suffer more from imposter syndrome, and are less likely to ask for a pay rise.

Even if you do ask for a payrise, there will be all sorts of budgetary restraints which means it's not possible just now, but if you can just wait a year...

And yes, imposter syndrome, but it's no surprise when you're constantly told you're not as good as your male peers (even when you've got more qualifications etc.) But they will not see the different standards expected.
