Employer aiming for LGBT charter status

My organisation is pretty mixed with pronoun declarers and those completely uninterested.

I’ve been informed we are going for LGBT charter status. I’m gay but also pretty openly gender critical, what can I expect?

Can't help but giving this a bump.

Thanks, it seems nobody knows so maybe it’s not as much a concern as I fear!

This is LGBT Youth Scotland charter status for schools? If so, they claim about 60% of secondary schools are chartered. There must be quite a few Scottish teachers on MN. If you feel up to it, maybe ask in The Staff Room?

Take your break in the staffroom, a forum for everything related to teaching. Discuss jobs, PGCE and working life and get support from other teachers.

We’re not a school, it’s a children’s charity.

I wasn’t trying to start a discussion about what the Charter Status applies to, I have no doubt OP knows what sort of organization she works for. Just seeing if it was the school’s one to suggest The Staff Room as a place to ask.
