Anyone got any reccs please? I have a 10 year old. It's a hard enough time as it is without books telling you that boys have periods and you can grow up and be a man etc.

Google comes up with all pro trans childrens books such as 'the pronoun book' and lots of 'inclusive' books it's extremely odd.

We should write one!

Maybe Eden wotztheirname could read it.

I think milli hill has one? Welcome to your period I think it’s called

I gave mine What's Happening to Me. A few years ago but perfectly accurate & biologically correct.

Surely it's not that hard to find a similar approach, regardless of the odd books out there?

The period book: everything you don't want to ask (but need to know).

Or try a second hand bookshop and pick out something that looks like it was published more than 5 years ago.

Milli Hill is actively GC and wrote My Periods.
Otherwise surely any book that's written 10y or so ago?

Peter Andre's wife has one, I cant remember her name but she is Dr Emily

Another Millie Hill vote, excellent book.

There are loads of books from 20 years ago that cover this stuff from a realist perspective, and the facts haven't changed. Don't know how easy they are to get hold of however.

All the ones I bought ten years ago! I think Hair in Funny Places is a good one. What’s happening to my body as well.
