Bondi killings

Been thinking about this horrendous incident. Why do innocents have to suffer ( majority female victims it appears) because a man has lost control of himself? Why didn't this nasty man just fuck somewhere and end himself quietly? I keep looking at photos of the mother who has been murdered and my thoughts are with her baby who is fighting for his or her life, and of course the other victims and their families.

It's absolutely horrendous and I am distraught about it. I'm trying to find solace in all the men and that amazing policewoman who risked their own lives to stop him and help people.

This one hits close to me. I am the same age as the mother who was murdered and her baby is a few months younger than mine. I keep thinking about the last few months we've had together which is already more time than that mother and baby will ever get. About her grieving partner and the potential siblings that will never be born now. I just don't understand what motivates these killers to destroy the innocent lives of people just out shopping. Gaza is a tragedy but it is also a war zone and you expect people to die in war zones. Bondi should be safe.

Weirdly I feel glad that it was a woman who shot him dead and that apparently she didn't fuck about.

It looks like he was an incel but the police are still investigating this aspect

So far the baby seems to be doing 'OK'

From the Mail on Sunday:

Ms Good's nine-month-old baby girl was also stabbed and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

And there is something very fitting about it being a female police officer that shot him

I wondered if there’d be a thread on this. Twitter yesterday was awash with anti-Islam sentiment when dipshits assumed he was Muslim, but I bet it’s utterly silent on the idea he was a bog standard Australian targeting women.

He attacked 13 women and three men based on what that article says.

Five women and one man murdered.

Makes you wonder if the men involved were those who tried to stop him, rather than being targeted by him.

Apparently the man who was murdered was a security guide so it seems likely that the killer was targeting women and the man was killed because he got in the way.

@MissScarletInTheBallroom same here, it's so awful, can't imagine what everyone affected by this is going through.

Jordan Peterson explained this distinction between sexes in
ome of his lectures. Males are far more likely to display their displeasure in
outward signs of aggression and females through inward means ie self harm.

The first thing I read was "already known to police". Then later she was his ex- who had a baby with someone else.

Will I be surprised if that is true? No

Edited

That’s been fairly well documented long before Peterson became well known: it’s why acts of vandalism and so on are almost exclusively done by men.

As for this, I can’t even begin to comprehend. Cowardly scum.

Why do you say that? He suffered from schizophrenia.

@DrJoanAllenby I did think that but then thought they looked so in shock that it must be true, maybe they were able to clean themselves up/get new t-shirts.

Or perhaps they were wearing coats?

Maybe as they were in a shopping centre, someone gave them new clothes to change into?

I feel so sorry for those poor people, just out doing a bit of shopping and then this terrifying attack out of nowhere. Looking at stills of the footage, seems that he was walking around holding this massive knife in full view!

Well done to Officer Amy Scott. I hope she isn't hard on herself. She had no choice but to shoot in self defence.

X was awful as was just about every comment under news reports yesterday and then some random Jewish sounding named 20 year olds social media profile began floating about and it was then a radical Jew who apparently was attacking his ex for moving on and her baby

The man who it actually IS wasn't mentioned by social media while people hijacked the tragedy for other agendas

It's grotesque and felt like there was a vibe of people wanting and gleefully rubbing hands hoping it was down to Islam or Israel meanwhile... people who simply went out shopping were killed in front of families and friends senselessly

Witnesses said security guards were wounded but that floated around too with social media claiming that they were useless

And now the conspiracy theories will go around regarding the lack of blood... they were using clothing to stem the bleeding... think anyone cares after that about making those men pay for new clothes?? Shopkeepers would have gladly given them clothing and they wouldn't have left the centre till HOURS after the attack ffs

Yes amazing and courageous people are still about, thank goodness.

I didn't see this myself online, but someone told me that he was confronted by another male in the shopping centre, a powerfully built one, and he turned and ran in the other direction. Pathetic coward. Stabbed a baby.
