I don’t think this is hateful. It was recorded at Andrew Doyle’s comedy club.

But it was very funny!

And despite the merkin (that you can see peeping out of the toolbelt in the photo above) Elaine has confirmed "No hate monsters were harmed in the prop making".

Elaine’s great. She manages to land so much informative content and bust taboos through her humour. She is a gifted comedienne.

For anyone not familiar, she works in the NHS with women with sexual disfunction and incontinence issues, a 'fanny physio', and she has lots of powerful things to say about how testosterone is affecting young women directly in that region. She looks at it, literally, every day.

But what I loved about that set is that, with her clip board, she's obviously not a polished stand up comedian with years of training and experience. She's just a very funny, warm, relatable and confident woman, who can make people laugh. No way is she unimportant!

But she's wrong about assigned unimportant at birth. It's more subtle than that. Assigned payer of taxes, provider of unpaid services, for whom services are not provided, sometimes explicitly.
