"CSRWire - In Celebration of Trans Awareness Week MAC Cosmetics Launch Inclusive Makeup Edit by Joseph Harwood (He, She, They) and Donate £50,000 to Mermaids Charity" https://www.csrwire.com/press_releases/761411-celebration-trans-awareness-week-mac-cosmetics-launch-inclusive-makeup-edit

It's one thing being too old, but I can dream, I just can't covet a product being sold in this way.

I'm the generation with disposable income 🙄

This is not new - it's from 2022. But glad that you're supporting now :)

M.A.C.s been going downhill for ages, the testing on animals so they could be stocked in China was pretty crap after all their "we are soooo coooool, we are soooo cruelty free" posturing.

It doesn't surprise me that they are doing this.

I hate the massive monopoly they have over cosmetics.

So MAC use animals for testing, and support testing experimental drugs on children via Mermaids. Nice!

(HQ, there’s plenty of evidence that Mermaids directed kids to the Tavistock, which Cass says was using experimental drugs)

Pre covid I wore Estée Lauder but they're lines, colours were discontinued, they announced to the financial sector that they were chasing the Asian market pushing hard.

Estée Lauder are the parent company of MAC, looking at the financials they're both hemorrhaging money. It's extraordinary how fast and hard they've lost their way.

As pp said, it's from 2022.

Most of us on these pages don't have a problem with males wearing make up or with Korean women 🤦🏻‍♀️. We do have huge issues with Mermaids and companies supporting them.

"Estée Lauder signs singer IU as first Korean Global Brand Ambassador" https://cosmeticsbusiness.com/est%C3%A9e-lauder-signs-iu-as-global-brand-ambassador

Read this article, it's extraordinary.

May I ask what's extraordinary about the article. I'm a bit confused and new to this topic.
