It's the entirely logical conclusion of self ID and needs to be defended by those who support self id. As the corporal in the article says, on the outside he is a heterosexual man but on the inside he is a lesbian woman. And it's what he declares his feelings are that matter now, so he's not breaking or bending any rules here. Such a stupid system.

JellySaurus · 05/03/2024 19:03

State-sponsored transmaxxing.

Navyblueblazer · 05/03/2024 19:03

Perfect. The logical result of a nonsensical ideology. This should rile plenty of people up.

puffyisgood · 05/03/2024 20:34

bit of giveaway here that he’s not trutrans.

“I even have a private room in the barracks, all to myself, with a private bathroom. This is because I cannot be with men as I am a woman, and I did not consider it appropriate to be with biological women out of respect for them.”

NecessaryScene · 05/03/2024 20:37

I do like these more than the other "women". Able to give reasons for being a "woman" that aren't mind-bogglingly sexist or totally incoherent. And probably even the real reasons too...

JanesLittleGirl · 05/03/2024 20:40

A stupid law will produce embarrassing outcomes. This is similar to the Aussie coppers who claimed to be NB to get the female clothing allowance.

IcakethereforeIam · 05/03/2024 20:45

The Aussie coppers, I'd forgotten about they/them. Great bunch of guy-gals.

To be honest if there’s a 15% pay rise and enhanced pension entitlements at stake it’s only a matter of time before every single male in their armed forces and police does the same. The article even says that of 41 transitioners in Ceuta region, only 4 have changed their names. Still, as Stonewall used to say “acceptance without exceptions.” Hat’s off ladies! 👏

Snowypeaks · 05/03/2024 21:14

Corporal Perdigones said “positive discrimination” was an incentive for becoming a <a class="break-all" href="https://archive.ph/o/ujnbA/www.telegraph.co.uk/women/life/menopause-debate-disability-policy-workplace-work-from-home/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">woman.
“For changing my gender, I have been told that<a class="break-all" href="https://archive.ph/o/ujnbA/www.telegraph.co.uk/money/pensions/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> my pension has gone up because women get more to compensate for inequality. I also get 15 per cent more salary for being a mother,” he said.

Just shows what a farce it is. Still, I hope the military are happy. The thing is, some probably will regard this initiative as a huge success and a solution to the problem.

IcakethereforeIam · 05/03/2024 21:35

And they bump the number of women in the armed forces without actually having to have any of the old fashioned cunty kind of women. Win-win!

After re-reading the article, I see that these "new recruits" were already in the employ of the military or the police. So basically the authorities have just bumped up their wage and benefits bill without increasing the numbers of soldiers or police...

Have I got that right?

That was my reading of it too.

agent765 · 05/03/2024 23:20

FFS! Once again I am lost for words.

I wonder when the idiots in charge will realise their mistake? When taxpayers decide they don't want to pay for these chancers and vote them out?

Have I got that right?

And who wouldn't be at all surprised if the government response to that is to remove these benefits for ALL women?

Boiledbeetle · 07/03/2024 08:14

I've got to say I don't blame the men for doing it. If all you have to do to get a 15% pay rise and better pension is tap into those female feelings you've just discovered. You'd be mad not to.

The only thing that surprises me is that the number of men who've found their feminine side in the forces and police in Spain is so low. Maybe they haven't all got the memo yet.

IcakethereforeIam · 07/03/2024 09:48

There's a link to a reduxx....actually I'll go find it and link it here. It explains why it isn't more widespread and some truly vile cases where it's been exploited. BRB.

Phew! Made it in time to edit.

SPAIN: Concerns About "Trans Fraud" Emerge After Dozens Of Male Civil Servants In One Small Community Change Their Legal Gender But Maintain Male Names - Reduxx

Concerns about “trans fraud” have emerged after dozens of male civil servants in one small community changed their gender identity reportedly just to get benefits allocated for females. The wave of gender change approvals follows the implementation of...
