I reported a man for masturbating in the bushes near my car 3 weeks ago and was told "he is probably just having a wee" Why are we gaslit when we know men do this shit allllll the time.

Maybe it's because we all have this bias where we assume other people "think" (the processes, values, motivations, information etc) the same way we do. Most women can simply not comprehend the lengths a man will go to satisfy his sexual needs, including the weirdest and most fetishistic ones. Women very rarely abuse others, commit crimes, jeopardise their jobs or families or make their lives revolve around the need to have an unwilling man licking their toes or dressing like batman.

If it's inanimate objects, it's weird but less harmful than other people or animals. Unless they harm themselves in the process. Or the health service, firebrigade or, in this case, shop owners and courts when they have to deal with the aftermath.
