As there are only 6 of us, plus two of them and plausibly a couple of people from UCL, they must have booked a cupboard rather than a venue for 150.

I'm so jaded these days that my first thought was "I hope it hasn't been block-bought by TRAs who will then either turn up and heckle or leave seats empty". Hope I'm wrong, Sonia and Jo are inspirational in their own ways!

I realise that it's UCL that is organising this and they wanted to make it free and they have a duty to manage their resources.

I'd have bought a ticket for the QEII Centre if they'd booked it there. It was a fabulous venue for the sports event. And can you imagine how we'd have been able to raise the roof en masse as Jo, Sonia et al walked onto the stage?

Don't forget the socks. They can take up a surprising amount of space.
