I've just watched tonight's Silent Witness.
An clear / surprising for BBC take on trans issues / freedom of academic speech.
Possibly worth a watch just to see even if it isn't normally your cup of tea.

I look forward to watching it. I have wondered how the writing team for this show would deal with it all.

Mind you SW doesn't actually seem to be on tonight as it has been bumped for football

So part two aired last night.
(Somewhat timely with the Jo Phoenix result)

The contrasting of the measured, intelligent reasoning of the professor with the baying of the mob was quite unexpected. Especially from a series that did a frankly bonkers trans storyline a few years ago
