Thanks for the links. Terrifying how little is known. and yet it's all becoming mainstream as if there are no risks whatsoever for the egg donor.

From a male perspective: egg freezing, although imperfect, gives women a chance to bank eggs ( and hopefully some embryos) from say 33-37. Surely if they are socially infertile it's worth doing it?? If I was dating a woman over 36 I would expect that she had frozen eggs, preferably 2 retrievals. I don't take the procedure lightly - but surely if a woman has say 25 eggs ( meaning possibly she will end up with 5 viable embryos) at 36 that is far preferable than the fraught experience of doing fresh egg retrievals at say 41 when the odds of a pregnancy are much lower. I read a lot of articles on egg freezing and what's missing is the male perspective - men are programmed to anticipate the possibility of helping to create a child and anything that adds to that possibility is a huge winner with it comes to mid- late thirties dating.
