Does anyone know if there is going to be WPUK a conference in 2024?

I just looked at their website, but couldn't see anything. The conferences are usually early February, so I would have expected to have heard something by now...

Now you mention it, I can't recall seeing anything from WPUK for ages: no twitter posts, no advertised meetings, nothing. Are they still going?

2024 will be a general election year. There’s no Filia conference in 2024. I suspect a lot of women’s groups will be mobilising to raise awareness of self-ID and the impact of current policies/practice. They won’t want the distraction of organising a conference.

WPUK took a Christmas break. They are Xing and Instagramming today.

I may be wrong in my surmising, but I thought WPUK were encouraged/satisfied with Dodds, Streeting and Starmer making vague pro-Equality Act/anti-Self ID noises this year so they were scaling back their lobbying as they feel Labour should be supported to win the next election.
