Shes only 10 but most definitely gender critical, isn't it a beautiful scarf? 3 wools knitted together, her own design, and so warm!

That's so lovely 😍 what a thoughtful girl

WearyLady · 26/12/2023 09:26

What a lovely thought. Well done her!

Blanketsburg · 26/12/2023 09:27

That's so lovely! Well done her. And only 10. Looks like something costing £100 from Toast or similar!

SirChenjins · 26/12/2023 09:28

Oh that’s amazing! Well done her, what a lovely gift 😊

KohlaParasaurus · 26/12/2023 09:29

Credit to your daughter. Nicely knitted, and it's heartening to know that there are young people out there who know what's what.

clarepetal · 26/12/2023 09:41

That is bloody lovely. Good tension too, well done her!

OnTheRoll · 26/12/2023 09:54

The scarf is beautiful, well done!
However, why is it in the feminism section and how is her being gender-critical relevant?

OnTheRoll · 26/12/2023 09:54

Is it because of the traditionally suffragette colours?

stealtheatingtunnocks · 26/12/2023 10:13

thats lovely. Each stitch has sedition and love in it

Is it because of the traditionally suffragette colours?

Yes, it’s the colours. And what a gorgeous scarf.

Mum4MrA · 26/12/2023 10:17

Brilliant thoughtful gift ❤️

Boiledbeetle · 26/12/2023 10:23

I've never been able to knit, so I'm well impressed! It's great! Love her colour choices!

nettie434 · 26/12/2023 10:26

Your daughter has done a superb job!

PurpleBugz · 26/12/2023 10:27

That's an amazing gift. I'm so jealous

DworkinWasRight · 26/12/2023 10:29

Gorgeous - what a lovely gift.

DialSquare · 26/12/2023 10:42

Wow. That's lovely. I'd buy that if I saw it in a shop.

DiscoBoots · 26/12/2023 10:58

Thanks vipers! She's beaming having read your messages, and yes the relevance was suffragette colours (and spreading some christmas positivity)

She's a good one, OP.

Snippit · 26/12/2023 11:00

I’m impressed, as someone else has mentioned the tension is spot on. Encourage her to do more, I used to do loads of knitting I’m more into crocheting now. YouTube is fantastic for tips and advice and Hobbycraft has some lovely wool.

Needapadlockonmyfridge · 26/12/2023 11:02

That's just fabulous, on so many levels.
Kudos to your daughter!

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 26/12/2023 11:19

Bloody hell! I'm crap at knitting so completely in awe of a 10yo who rocks!

Bergamotte · 26/12/2023 11:25

That is absolutely beautiful!

As someone who has tried to learn to knit several times over the years, I'm very impressed by her ability.

And such a lovely meaning, but without being in-your-face so it's appropriate in all settings.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 26/12/2023 11:52

Well done her. What a lovely thoughtful gift.

MercyChant66 · 26/12/2023 11:53

Oh my - that's fabulous! Brilliant stocking stitch execution and very even tension - such a great design too! I've tried to teach mine many times but sadly, knitting's not for her. A whole lifetime of creative joy awaits your daughter.
