I came across this interview on YouTube (I’d been watching Andrew Doyle’s interview with Vaishnavi Sundar discussing her film about Trans Widows and saw this interview listed as one I might like to watch) so I gave it a go and thought it was very interesting.
Kelly has obviously gone on a steep learning curve on this issue (she’s had a few GC campaigners on her show of late which probably helped 😀) and is very much pushing back on medicalisation of children (as well as pushing for protection of women’s rights & spaces).
She can be very brusque but I thought her interview here with O’Malley and Burgo was thoughtful and sensitive. I thought I’d post it here for fellow FWR posters to see how the GC argument is progressing in the US.
