URGENT CURRENT CASE - Public Access Request - J Phoenix - The Open University - 3322700/2021

Ask for access link and pin and please give your name and address in the email as they check when you connect to the tribunal.

DD- we had a number of people from Liverpool and John Moore's uni's speaking, they are closely linked and we thought if one speaker dropped out more would follow.

Edited

Liverpool John Moore's University is a hot bed of transactivism. It is students there who have campaigned to get lecturers sacked for supposed 'transphobia'.

ickky · 18/10/2023 15:49

Amazing recall on these names.

Judge - when did you realise that you were the woefully inept and discriminatory manager that ever lived?

Paraphrased.

Mmmnotsure · 18/10/2023 15:50

J: People in your dept who have GI / GC views. When did you know c anyone's GC views?

DD: I think it was in the course of conversations around these issues

ickky · 18/10/2023 15:51

I'm not writing the name on here.

OK, now I believe that the OU tried to settle with Jo, And she refused. There is no other possible explanation for this tribunal going ahead.

Sisterpita · 18/10/2023 15:52

You mean reasonable people who can critically assess the arguments of both sides!

Sisterpita · 18/10/2023 15:53

chilling19 · 18/10/2023 15:51

OK, now I believe that the OU tried to settle with Jo, And she refused. There is no other possible explanation for this tribunal going ahead.

I am sure I read this somewhere but couldn’t remember where.

ickky · 18/10/2023 15:53

So when she said there were people in support of Jo earlier, she lied. She just said it didn't become clear until the end of academic year July 2021.

Ooo a quip

chilling19 · 18/10/2023 15:55

Sister - I think someone in a previous thread postulated this in a response to me evidencing sheer incredulity at how the OU would want to bare their seriously dirty Landry in public.

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 18/10/2023 15:56

Judge has a lot more questions for DD than anyone else.

LarkLane · 18/10/2023 15:56

Go Judge!

chilling19 · 18/10/2023 15:56

'Handwringing" - alongside harmful, etc etc

ickky · 18/10/2023 15:58

How they would manage differing matters.

You grow the fuck up and do your job, it is not difficult.

OP posts:
CriticalCondition · 18/10/2023 15:58

J- How did you know there was handwringing?
DD- People were talking to me from 'both sides'
J- why was there handwringing, why couldn't it be public
DD talks about research grant bids in the future and teams

Sisterpita · 18/10/2023 16:00

Go Ben, get the point across by referencing the page.

ickky · 18/10/2023 16:01

She's been lying again. 😂

You can't sneak anything past Ben.

A debate here on DDS understanding of twaw and sex is immutable. I think.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 18/10/2023 16:03

What did she lie about, I was in the loo

chilling19 · 18/10/2023 16:04

Ben laying the ground for an appeal (if needed), witness lied against her statement.

Edited

…which proves the point that debate is necessary and that the network was needed

Mmmnotsure · 18/10/2023 16:05

BC to J: q arising, about when witness first aware of JP beliefs. I didn't challenge what was in WS so this arises out of response witness just gave you. Her answer is inconsistent with WS.

When she answered your q she was not being truthful, was rewriting history. On face of email she fully understood JP beliefs in March 2019 but she just said only became aware c sex being immutable etc views in July+ 2021.

Want to give witness chance to address this. Just raising this or it'll go into submissions.

Then my doorbell went.

chilling19 · 18/10/2023 16:05

Ereshkigalangcleg · 18/10/2023 16:03

What did she lie about, I was in the loo

When she first (GOT THE POINT) that sex is immutable.

ickky · 18/10/2023 16:06

@Ereshkigalangcleg
DD answered the judge that she became aware of JP's GC belief's in July 2021 and Ben pointed out in her witness statement there was an email between DD and JP in 2019 where Jo said she doesn't think TWAW and sex is immutable.

I think that is it.
