Yes, it's the movement's inherent contradictions that made me certain it's misguided.
Since we disagree on what a woman is, I don't expect their ideas about womanhood and women's rights/services to be consistent with mine. I do however expect them to be self consistent, and they are not.
My contributions to the list:
We've fundamentally misunderstood what a woman is by believing women are the female of the species.
But also...everything set up based on the assumption that women are female is obviously there for the new type of woman despite being set up without any reference to that group of people. It's not there for female people despite being literally designed for that group of people.
Having a female body isn't part of being a woman.
But also...trans women can give intimate care to people with female bodies because they are women.
