No prizes for guessing who by.

At least they have made the artists' point for them.

Oh my god no! Is that spraypaint on the artworks!

Thelnebriati · 17/09/2023 20:39

Don't they ever stop and ask themselves why lesbians in particular give them the rage?

ApocalipstickNow · 17/09/2023 20:41

They know full well why.

I think it's just on the outside of the gallery.

Ha! Swine, this is after years of blackballing women from artistic meet ups, they're finally marching in like brownshirts to physically destroy it.

They hate us, and no amount of media blackout will be able to hide it forever.

GrinitchSpinach · 17/09/2023 21:50

I hear from women I know there that the paint is just on the outside of the gallery, not on the artwork, and also that this:

no amount of media blackout will be able to hide it forever.

is true—-that locals are peaking left and right and approaching the women to tell them they support them.

ArabeIIaScott · 17/09/2023 21:56

no amount of media blackout will be able to hide it forever.

Very true. And once people realise there has been a blackout, and they've been lied to, then they come digging.

Really sad but not surprising unfortunately. Reminds me of that rape crisis centre in Canada that was just for females. Hopefully loads see and wake up…

Great to see both Jess de Wahls and Birdy among the artists featured. I hope the exhibition is a great success, as PPs say, the publicity generated by the TRAs attack should both peak more people and encourage more visitors/buyers too.

Fantastic exhibition. I hope the Streisand effect works as it typically does.

Powerful image, from Twitter.

Artwork from the fabulous Laetitia Ky, I believe.

I liked the comment that said they should leave the graffitti up. Let everyone see what this 'love' and 'peace' movement is all about. Violence and silencing the voices of women.

I think that's all of them, although I couldn't find a reference for Laura Ichikawa.

Wishing them a very good show. Looks like a fantastic group of artists.

I agree.
