Filling in nhs staff survey

Are any other fellow nhs workers going to be honest on the upcoming staff survey about the trans policies which are seeping in and how this could impact female staff members and patients?
Not that it’s likely to make much difference, I’m not sure how much they actually act on staff survey feedback, but was wondering if it’s worth a shot…

Use every opportunity to defend women’s rights to dignity and safety. Fill in every comment box with gender critical comments, even if it doesn’t directly answer their no doubt biased questions. Let them know how you feel

Please do give it a shot - there are probably NHS workers who are genuinely TWAW, so it’s important that gender-critical voices are heard too, if only to provide some balance.

Yes.

I’ll be brutally honest. I’m done with being patient and hoping it’ll pass.

MavisMcMinty · 04/09/2023 18:25

No longer eligible, so PLEASE do it for us horrified retired NHS workers. I’m just glad I went before being asked my feckin’ pronouns.

ArabeIIaScott · 04/09/2023 19:30

Please do!

Flower212 · 04/09/2023 20:31

I know it’s confidential but I am just worried that I would get found out some way and get accused of transphobia. I know my worries are part of the problem because people feel they can’t speak out, I guess the confidential staff survey would be the place to do it.

Yeah, it is confidential, it has to be to get honest answers.

Veracity23 · 04/09/2023 20:42

Oh, is there a space now where you can actually express freely worded opinions and not just choose from stock responses to a set of badly worded questions that allow HR to get their annual tick box badge?

(Example - I would/wouldn't recommend my workplace as a place to work/have treatment.)

At a guess, is this the first time you've completed the NHS staff survey? You might be in for a bit of a disappointment if so as to just how prepacked it all is@. Or maybe I'm just very, very cynical (but almost unfailingly accurate) after almost 20 years in the public sector.

I am hoping for free text boxes.

and let them
accuse me of transphobia. They’ll have to define it by the time they take me
to tribunal
