LIDL urgently recalls Paw Patrol snack over explicit error on packaging

I am getting so sick of this shit. Everyday there's something like this, it seems?

Basically, the web address printed on the children's snack takes kids to a sexually explicit website.

"Error". Yeah, right.

It will be that the url originally went to something ok, then the website lapsed/ got bought by someone else who controlled what went on the site and changed it.

Yep, website domains are bought and sold, can happen. Sometimes it’s not the push into children’s safety, it’s ‘just’ the ever present porn.

Surely the domain must have been innocent sounding though? "Paw Patrol Games" or something?

Who buys an address with a kids tv show in it and does this?!?

Mistakes do happen. I was preparing materials for an international conference a few years ago and the link from their website to the "call for abstracts" went direct to a porn site. URLs are often complicated and you only need a typo!
