Anyone else noticed that Mumsnet now seems to be in partnership with Innocent Drinks?

One of my bugbears is companies whose marketing talks to adults like they are toddlers. It's so off-putting and part of the general infantilisation of adult life.

Eek. I need my coffee. Pronouns are by some way the lesser evil to funding Mermaids or promoting mastectomy for healthy girls.

I have some sympathy. I heard the owner of the local McDonalds franchises speak recently inter alia about the problems of managing a young workforce. On one level he was very sympathetic to a generation with so few prospects in terms of being able to afford to rent a flat etc, and claimed to pay well over the minimum wage, but at the same time rolled his eye over long meetings discussing pronouns. He seemed to see it as a way his young workers had some agency. Perhaps for Greg’s as well pronouns are something a section of their staff are asking for.

Other than that, no gingerbread men with proceeds to Mermaids. No non binary yum yums. (Perhaps actually, all yum yums are non binary.)
