Good article by Andrew Neil... but no Glinner

A good article, and an acknowledgment that he was 'ungracious' when questioned about how long it has taken him to take up the baton. However I wish he had mentioned Graham and all the very 'heavy lifting' he has done, at huge personal expense.

Meh. Why do you think he should mention Glinner over all the others who've lost so much and made so many sacrifices to stand up for women's rights and child safety?
I can think of dozens of women he's not mentioned but I'm sure they're not demanding he centres them - and I don't think that Glinner would be demanding it either?

I can't see a reading of my post that suggests I think he should mention Glinner over all the others who have risked livelihoods etc.... but I feel uncomfortable with the inference that no men have been vocal... apart from Andrew Neil now of course...

I agree, I am glad he's acknowledged that it's women who prepared the ground that he's now walking on, but I think a nod to the fact that he isn't the first man to have dared to risk the consequences of speaking up wouldn't go amiss.

It read to me as him trying to show good grace after his initial, more defensive reaction to women wondering why he hadn’t noticed this before, and those women (not unreasonably ) pointing out that women have been fighting this for some time.
In a piece applauding the women who spoke up when no one mainstream wanted to listen, I think an all female list of voices is appropriate.

Graham needs to calm down and understand that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Flying off the handle at people just pisses them off.
