Hi, delurking and very nervously posting!

I've been following this board for a long time and there are a couple of current threads that are focusing on the apparent change of opinion by some labour mps re womens rights.

What I haven't seen mentioned, and why I am posting, is an interview that took place on R4 Today programme last Wednesday (26th).

The (stand-in) presenter was Chris Mason and he was talking with the director of JLPartners pollsters, Scarlett Maguire about the impact the culture wars could have on voters.

It's available on bbc sounds at around 1.45.00 and is worth listening to purely for CMs comment about Keir Starmer.

I think it also gives a very clear idea of why certain MPs are reversing!

Apologies for any formatting errors!

Is Iain Anderson the new CEO? I thought he held some other position (chair of trustees or something)

The ground has wilfully been shifted from males can be women - to males can be female. This leaves GC people having to elaborate biologically female rather than trans females.

Whenever the trans lobby sense a clear line and policy position coming from women's groups - they shift their language and phrasing in order to appropriate that ground.

Yes, sorry - you're right. Still - his move from the Tories to Labour was purely strategic.

This ^^

If men are women
And men are now female

wtf are the 52% of the human race they've just colonised now supposed to be called?

And this is the intent. There is nowhere you can ever get your knickers off or talk about your rape where they cannot control you and be present to use you to meet their needs.

Hence: being nice about this is no longer possible. And the answer is no. you're men.

Some MNetter quoted the old fairytale a few weeks back, the one where the fairy asks the beggar in the ditch what his wish was. And first he wanted a cottage. And then a manor. And then a castle. And then to be king. And then to be ruler of the universe. At which point she said ffs, you can go back to your ditch.

I thought that was very accurate. We're about there.

I can see I'm going to have to write to my Labour MP about 'biological, chromosomal sex characteristic of the sexually dimorphic species homo sapiens'.

Or perhaps the term 'Winstonian sex' for short?
