Agreed.
Only a small part of it was specific to the Australian parliamentary Bill. The rest is a very eloquent explanation about the harms being done to gender-confused and distressed children by social transition and the inevitable path from there towards medical intervention. It feels like it would be very accessible to someone who didn't really have this on their radar.

I really hope she got some of her messages across. I would hope that the written submission contained all the references to studies and papers around the desistance by puberty. It has saddened me how far Queensland has gone on this pathway. It is very interesting because the one state who is producing papers and reviews directly from the gender clinics is NSW. Westmead seems to be the group of clinicians that are up front in raising the flags that Victoria ignores.

All because the position of that one MP in Victoria at the time. Meddick, who Andrew’s needed support of so Meddick became influential because of Meddick’s male child.** And because Victoria seems to have people who have their entire careers now invested in transitioning people. Such as Dr Ada Cheung and Michele Tefler.

Mind you, someone up in Queensland must be involved in inducing lactation of males because I believe this individual, Buckley, received their medication through a QLD specialist.
