This seems so ignorant it's almost funny but it had me swear at my phone so sharing so others can join me in the frustration.

Tweet by Demi lovato.

"It’s been one year since the Supreme Court's decision to dismantle the constitutional right to a safe abortion, and although the path forward will be challenging, we must continue to be united in our fight for reproductive justice. I created ‘SWINE’ to amplify the voices of those who advocate for choice and bodily autonomy. I want this song to empower not only the birthing people of this country, but everyone who stands up for equality, to embrace their agency and fight for a world where every person's right to make decisions about their own body is honored. demilovato.lnk.to/SWINE"

Obviously this isn't referring to the uk but still I could rant and rant on this one.

To support abortion would be to support a woman to be more than her reproductive function. Yet here the word women is not used instead Demi refers to women by their reproductive function. Why can she not see why women object to terms like "birthing person" ffs it's infuriating.

But surely the point of having an abortion is that you don't then give birth?
