The last WWW meeting in Govan apparently attracted around 200 women/supporters, and only three anti-women protesters turned up to stand around looking glaiket. I'm hoping Ayr will be similar. I'll be there with dh, a female friend in her 70's, and the mother of one of my grand daughters. 😎

Do you take placards?

I won't be taking a placard, but I have badges, a scarf and a massive hand-knitted jumper in suffragette colours, so I think my allegiances will be clear.

I'll be there and was at Govan too, I'll be on my own but just chat to whoever I'm standing near, I still have my song sheet too!

I have an AHF t-shirt, and stickers to stick on anything not moving!

I wonder how many Coppers backs you can sticker then. They seem to grow roots at events where women are.

I'm not sure about this time, but at Govan you could ask to be met if you were alone.
I asked, but then arrived early and saw everyone immediately as I came out of the underground.

I popped my head at the beginning of the year, best thing I've done in ages.
This will be my 4th event since February, including LWS in Hyde Park last month.
I've a couple of local friends who agree, but I don't want to keep inviting them as I sense they aren't keen to come along yet, and I'd hate them to feel pressured, so I just go alone

I'm going, on my own, I'll chat to whoever's about. Getting walked along by partner, but he'll be taking the kids off to do something else.

Pleased to report a decent turnout of about 50, including a few men (one of them my dh) despite steady rain. And not a single TRA to be seen - maybe they melt in the rain?
