Strange Article in The Spectator (17/06/23) - “Can I Be a Woman?”

This article is written by a straight man trying to understand his male friend’s fetish. I’m genuinely not sure if the story is based in reality or not, but I thought I’d post this article in FWR as I thought posters here might find this VERY male view of womanhood interesting (or hugely aggravating, as I did).

Confused by the abrupt ending to be honest, it felt like the writer was going to say more but then just didn't - all this man could grasp from this was that it's simply "Not his cup of tea"?
That's it? That's what we're supposed to take away from this??

That is strange indeed, but it made me laugh. The part where he looks in the mirror... and he doesn't have AGP goggles! I found it oddly reassuring that all the creepy hypnosis stuff didn't do anything to him.

Landesman stresses his heterosexuality but agreeing to try out AGP with both blokes in lacy knickers ...😉

We all know that AGP is at the root of much transgenderism these days; seems the commentators under the article where unaware, even, of what it involved - and most seem simply not to get the issue or grasp how it undermines the dignity, and reality, of women and girls.

That article really resonated with me as a woman, I'm off to a Women in cybersecurity event soon and while the agenda hasn't been completely firmed up I'm really looking forward to the inevitable pink champagne, little fru fru canapés, comparing of manicures and of course the comparing boob sizes in the Ladies toilets. Eeek being a girl is just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun.

I read the article as Cosmo Landesman giving a big fat sigh and an eyeroll at that cliche too. Probably because I usually use the phrase "This involved" when I am being sarcastic in describing something. The whole article had that vibe.
