A friend just sent me this nonsense:

"In a heartwarming union that challenges societal norms and perceptions, a trans man and a trans woman have come together in matrimony. What makes this story even more remarkable is the unexpected support and happiness expressed by religious communities."

Of course the religious don't have a problem with this - it's a heterosexual couple, albeit in fancy dress!

I suspect a piss-take.

I knew a trans couple like this…they were OK.
But it made me secretly wonder, why bother.

Well I raise you Fox and Owl,

Although Fox was "assigned" a female gender at birth and Owl was born male, the pair are now speaking out about why they don't feel the need to be called a man or a woman.
So although born female and male are both neither.

This is a "satirical" website. I say satirical in quotes as it really is a very very poor attempt at satire.

From their "About Us" section - "The Upper Lip is a satirical news site based in the UK with an aim to lighten public discourse – something desperately needed today. We believe humour is healthy for the soul."

Oops, I should have realised!
