Nothing wrong with having to prove their sex. And if one team was suspected of fielding men, all teams would have to show they weren't cheating.
The issues are
- why did FIFA insist on this method rather than a cheek swab? This was humiliating for the players and embarrassing for the physio who wasn't a doctor, much less a gynaecologist.
- why did the players have to do this in a room with the door open? I assume the doctor was male since they were standing in the doorway with their back to the room. The doctor could have stood outside a closed door.
