Is the end game to make women extinct species like Dodo's?

Will children be looking back at books in 300 years time reading "A creature called a woman used exist but science greatly improved the original version & now we have the greatly improved version"...

OP posts:
CrazyArmadilloLady · 10/06/2023 22:51

How will there be any children in 300 years, if women are extinct?

Moonandstarz · 10/06/2023 22:55

@CrazyArmadilloLady I'm speaking hypothetically but the bottom line is that certain groups & organisations want the word women & women to no longer exist. That is blatently obvious. We will be Dodos if a stop isn't put to this.

Hopefully they'll eradicate erroneous apostrophes too.

Moonandstarz · 10/06/2023 22:57

@underneaththeash along with the grammer police 🙄

QueenHippolyta · 10/06/2023 22:58

Yes it's ridiculous Queer Theory; if woman the word doesn't exist then patriarchy and misogyny will disappear.
How can people buy in to this idiocy?

007DoubleOSeven · 10/06/2023 23:13

Oh,don't be so ridiculous

Florissant · 10/06/2023 23:21

With more luck, they'll eliminate goadiness and stupidity.

@Fiddlerdragon no doubt there is a team of men in some deep dark lab in the middle of nowhere building a super "Non Man"..
I truely believe they want women eradicated.. They even hate the word woman.
Insane to see the amount of videos & influential people asking "What is a woman?"

We are the future Dodos if this insanity isn't stopped.

Look up Jennifer Bilek who follows the money on this issue. It sounds a bit OTT to say 'make women extinct ' but there is definitely an element of unhitching women from childbearing. (Maybe taking away our control of fertility). If being a woman has nothing to do with biology and anyone (rich) can be a parent via a surrogate (poor woman - womb haver) or in the future an artificial womb, then men can control fertility for profit. I think there are genuinely people who are aiming for a world in which it is routine to surgically alter your body ( genitals, breasts) for aesthetic purposes, get rid of your fertility (no more pesky periods) and be an individual sexless construction of your own making, then when you want a child you pop along and order one from a fertility clinic. Let's hope it never gets to that!

Spendonsend · 11/06/2023 08:28

I'm not sure women wont exists because I cant see this technology being abailable to the poor and there is more poor worldwide than wealthy.

But i do think that an artificial womb is a goal and I do think it will have wide implications.

The people who think Brave New World is an instruction manual.

I think the end goal of trans humanism, of which transgenderism is an off-shoot, is to rise above the earthly body and its perceived limitations.

We are becoming ever more detached an alienated from not only the earth and nature, but by extension our own animal/natural natures. humankind has tamed nature ( or so we think) and women have always be associated with nature ( mother Earth/Life cycles).

People now inhabit alternative realities in the digital world where you can be whoever you want to be, and where friendships are formed which are detached from physical reality.

Earlier waves of feminism sought to minimise the differences between men and women because women were seen as lesser than men on account of those differences - to the exteent that some feminists suggested that there were no natural/biological differnces between men and women at all other than those of the body. All differences were supposed to be socially constructed.

Only the downsides of the female body are narrated. How awful it is to menstruate, to have to go through menopause, to be burdened by pregnancy and child-rearing. What if women could escape from all of that?

Now we are witnessing talk of babies beeing born outside of the womb, even talk about womb transplants into men.

Transgenderism denies that the body has any bearing on whether you are a man or a woman.Being male or female is now supposedly detached from the body and is nothing but an internal concept.

Yes, and those poor women are also very useful for exploitation by the progressive West too.

They'll be growing them in pods.

The end game is to have infertile androgynous people, and babies grown in pods, generating electricity or something.

That's the only thing that makes sense in all this.

Artifical Intelligence is going to outsmart us all anyway! Maybe we can get some TERF robots!

Well if women cease to exist, then the human race will be probably be wiped out by some zombie virus that was cultured on the seats of all the unwashed toilets around the world.

They don't want women to cease to exist. They want them back in their place. Cleaning toilets and the such.

namitynamechange · 11/06/2023 10:11

There were all sorts of utopian visions of the future where most labour was done by machines etc, removing traditional jobs and then freeing everyone up. Ironically, many of these changes to the labour market took place but not so much because human labour was replaced by machine but because it was shipped out to other countries where wages were much much lower (there was a really good article but I cant remember the title)

I think a similar thing could happen with human reproduction - a lot of technological utopian stuff and a reality where the poorest are exploited somewhere out of site and out of mind. (And this isn't just about surrogacy, but the decoupling of women from female biology makes exploitation easier across the board)

inigomontoyahwillcox · 11/06/2023 10:18

"They'll be growing them in pods."

@Flustercuckoo sounds just like The Matrix ... which was written by a couple of transwomen.

I think this comment says it all.

It sounds extreme but there is a movement to erase women.

BorgQueen · 11/06/2023 11:58

It sounds like Rothblatt etc. want a world like the one in Altered Carbon or a film whose name escapes me where humans aren’t allowed intimate relationships and babies are cloned.

FlirtsWithRhinos · 11/06/2023 12:11

There is certainly a movement to erase women (original female meaning) as a political, social and cultural concept.

So we'll still exist, and have babies, and clean toilets, and yes also still have careers and be MPs and authors and so on, but we won't be able to publicly join the dots about times when we are treated unfairly or abusively because we are women, and we won't be able to raise political consciousness about it or lobby or protest about it or suggest or demand or build our own protections against it because we won't have the language, concepts and physical and cultural spaces to differentiate ourselves and what happens to us from trans women and what happens to them.

Moonandstarz · 11/06/2023 13:50

@FlirtsWithRhinos like the Handmaid's Tale.

That's where I saw it.

I never knew that's who wrote it though 🤔

CampCroc · 11/06/2023 15:00

Apart from the transhumanism aspect I’m sure there are plenty of men who would like to see women back in their place - in the kitchen, cleaning up, looking after the kids, sex as and when he wants it, not expecting anything from him. Basically cutting out everything the relationship boards are full of.
Plenty of men would support this.

Transhumanism is interesting though. I don’t think as many men would actively choose this, but if enough support the demise of women’s rights this could potentially be an aim.

m I wonder if we’ll see a dystopian future where female people end up escaping and setting up peaceful communes.
