It's a good article. But, it has to be said, it's basically identical to a zillion threads on here over the last x number of years.

and a zillion more, until the tin foil hat gang are compelled to answer the basic question, if, as you insist, the term women includes some rapey men, how can you exclude them from female prisons without being transphobic? Sticking your fingers in your ears and going "La la la" no longer cuts it.

If the trans people are "at it" it doesn't count; it's like when you didn't really tell a lie because you had your fingers crossed behind your back. Yumza needs to get that Lib Dem MP who sees people's auras up to Scotland to sort things out.

You may certainly feel, and argue, that the rights of trans people outweigh women’s rights to these spaces. I consider that an extraordinary attitude but it is not in itself illogical. What you cannot honestly do is claim there is no clash between interest groups.

And you then have to own that actually you feel that people biologically male should have freedom and self actualisation at the expense of female equality, access, safety, and that you are in fact a believer in an old fashioned, entirely binary, sex based system of male supremacism.

They cannot face up to this aspect of it, hence the ridiculous twisting and turning like twisty, turny things, and flat out denial of fact. It's a sad sight.

Excellent article, thank you. I'm pleased that this is now being 'seen' but also angry that so many women have been damaged and attacked for daring to say the same thing. The tide is turning, at long last. But only because brave women like JKR, Rosie Duffield, Maya Forstater etc etc dared to challenge this ideology aeons ago.

Agree with him that no debate = no reflection, ultimately.

The poor girl who was a victim of that monster. We need to keep her central to the discussion every time self ID is broached.
