I kissed a boy - will they do a girl version?

Just been reading about I kissed a boy in twitter. Not watched as I don’t watch dating programmes but the format seems pretty typical. I can see why it is popular and why it is a big step to have, on mainstream tv, a gay programme. The comments on twitter are very positive.looks fab.

I was wondering if they would do a I kissed a girl version and if not why not.
a) because lesbian culture doesn’t have the glitter and sparkle of gay?
b) because creepy straight men will watch to watch 2 girls kissing? 🤢(not the girls kissing but the thought of some men getting off on it)
c) would they feel obliged to have a transwoman on? Or else have cries of bigots/ transphobia

It is interesting to see the difference in the way the two groups are represented and how that reflects on society.

I wondered this.

They'd have to include butch lesbians- but not entirely sure how many would be interested in going for it; they tend to seem a very sensible bunch

It does open the debate though doesn't it...?

Surely they have included a transman in the series? Bit transphobic if they haven't. Or is it only women that have to be inclusive of the opposite sex?

I haven't read much about this show but thought from the get go it is pretty certain to trip up in this somewhere.

Include a transman and you may find it raising ethical questions legally.

Presumably the men would have to be told.

It is interesting thinking about how different the programme would be with men or women.

I watched the series and the reunion show was aired yesterday, Danni said at the end that the next series will be for lesbians and called I Kissed a Girl. I also wondered if they will put a transwoman in, they didn't have any transmen on this series though.
