Evidence of identity

I have plenty of evidence that I am a man; anyone who wants to investigate can find that evidence (though I’d prefer them to get my permission first!). But if I said I identified as a woman, what evidence could I provide, or what evidence could anyone find, that I am a woman? Is there anything at all, other than my say so, that demonstrates that I am a woman?

This is, of course, a rhetorical question. But what evidence does trans identity theory require? None at all?

There is no possible evidence. These men are delusional or lying or both. The fact that they had to redefine woman to include themselves just demonstrates how much of a sham this is.

You get a certificate - bit like a GCSE without 2 years study and no exam.

Can you imaging waiting until the 17th August to see if you pass and what percentage?

Apply for a Gender Recognition Certificate

Apply for a Gender Recognition Certificate to legally change your gender.

Why does that feel very similar to paying for a ‘degree’ from the Massachusetts Institute of Transgenderism?

It's a belief not a theory

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 03/05/2023 00:45

I believe the Scottish government suggested that the name on your gas bill would constitute evidence.

WallaceinAnderland · 03/05/2023 00:53

The name on your gas bill does constitute evidence in England.

seXX · 03/05/2023 07:45

Do you remember the 'scientific' paper that was due to be released a few months ago that was supposedly going to prove transgenderism is real and could be measured/diagnosed?? TRAs realised this could be a counterproductive to them so got the paper shutdown so we never found out the amazing breakthrough.

So, basically, the less proof/evidence, the better Hmm

Hagosaurus · 03/05/2023 08:46

Was it shut down or did it never exist? I lean towards the latter, given how much work it would have taken to produce, I think someone, somewhere would have at least found an outlet for the data!

I believe the Scottish government suggested that the name on your gas bill would constitute evidence.

Though there is no list of approved names: Sam, Alex, Robin, Jamie? And what about names that are more foreign in origin? So why not Colin, Harry, Donald, Max? Of course this is immaterial as you weren’t allowed to ask to see such evidence anyway.

FOJN · 03/05/2023 09:22

woman?

That's all the evidence I need, no need to show me your girl brain. Welcome to the club.

Why do we need evidence? SNP ministers made clear that no man has ever pretended that they haven’t spent £600k ring fenced money to be something they are not.

Shelefttheweb · 03/05/2023 09:29

If it identifies as a battlebus, then it is a battlebus.

But of course you don't need to show your GRC and no one is allowed to ask for it. So simply lie and it can't be challenged. But frankly why go through all that effort when you can change names on a utility bill. As you see, the process is watertight so stop complaining. Bigots.
