Stephen Crowder Right-Wing Misogynist is a wife abuser - surprise!

Stephen has been caught on ring phone verbally abusing and bullying his wife when she is 8 months pregnant with twins, talking to her in a scathing, patronizing manner, telling her she can’t have the car for grocery shopping as he needs it for the gym and see his friends and parents. He also tells her to put on gloves to give medicine to his dogs which she is worried is toxic to her babies. The video escalates with him getting threatening.

He wasn’t present when she gave birth to the twins, when she left hospital she found out he had moved out into a new townhouse and had spoken to a divorce lawyer.

However Stephen has been reporting the situation as his wife filling for divorce against his will and that she had her “for in his neck” all this time.

So you can add gaslighting and lying to his many talents.

If you have no idea who he is, he is a right-wing YouTuber/Podcaster in the USA with a large following, considered a “comedian” but comes over as a bombastic narcissist in his show.

He has 6 million subscribers on YouTube.

Well he's a charmer isn't he?

What a Prince among men 🙄

I first became aware of him at the beginning of lock down. I watched a couple of his "change my mind" videos. He displayed quite a controlling attitude in those, he's not clever enough to win an argument on its merits, he has to control the terms of the debate.

I remember thinking at the time that if he was married he would end up divorced because he is clearly not very pleasant and must be hell to live with.

RosaleeMarie · 28/04/2023 18:24

@FOJN totally agree. He was so obviously bombastic and arrogant.

I think most people in positions of power are personality disordered, I gather most in management positions are, and it's especially bad media as it attracts psychopaths. Piers Morgan apparently did a test and claims to be a malignant psychopath.

Apparently they were needed then in our tribes back in time, so that they could defend and not return with PTSD.

All those influencers on SM like Stacey Solomon are basically in sales and likley psychopaths.

17 Careers That Attract Psychopaths

The average rate of psychopathy in the general population is 1 in 100. The rate of psychopathy amongst high tier corporate officers is 1 in 10.

As a domestic abuse survivor I found it really uncomfortable to watch. You just never know what is going on behind closed doors. His children will be better off without him in their lives.

RosaleeMarie · 28/04/2023 21:10

@ElbowsToes there is a lot of theorizing that Pyschopaths were only really able to take off and become a larger % of the population with civilization because if they and their motives are known very well there is a high likelihood they will be killed or shunned from the tribe because of their lack of empathy for their own family and tribe.

Civilization meant larger numbers of people and the growth of towns and cities where people could be anonymous and/or hide their behavior.

Social Media/TV/Politics are good examples of structures that give people the ability to have a forward facing persona while hiding their true/full personality and behavior.

Tribal people would not tolerate the abuse and inability to build relationships that those with personality disorders display. If you look closer at Stephen's life it is littered with broken relationships. That doesn't work when you are closely bonded and depend on each other for survival like tribal people.

Agree with this.

Humankind by Rutger Bregman is all about research into this.

Thanks.

That's so disappointing to hear, I had enjoyed some of his content once upon a time - The change my mind's etc.

SpicyMoth · 29/04/2023 04:01

Just finished watching the video, would like to retract my statement and say instead that I am horrified and will never consume his content again. Fucking vile behaviour.

WickedSerious · 29/04/2023 08:44

Some of those comments.🙄

'Context' my arse.

FOJN · 29/04/2023 08:50

Tim Pool is cut from the same cloth as Crowder but with even less talent.

Dwrcegin · 29/04/2023 08:51

I saw the ring doorbell footage this morning. It made me so uncomfortable. The utter contempt he had for her. He's obviously an extremely unpleasant man but can imagine he is far worse behind closed doors.

No one can defend that footage surely?

Dwrcegin · 29/04/2023 08:58

I stand corrected, just read the Tim Pool comments.

I stand corrected, just read the Tim Pool comments.

yesterday I read a comment of something defending and sympathising with a man who had killed his pregnant fiancé so yeah. the behaviour which will be excused (by someone) is apparently without any sane boundary.
