I do think the Guardian’s letters editor is happy to give space to letters such as this, which is why I harp on about writing it. And to the Readers’ editor when journalists make muddled claims, rely on unfounded assertions and simply get things wrong

Great to see! Matti's article was clearly false. Trans people are not being excluded from single sex spaces. They're being excluded from single sex spaces which don't match their biological sex. Which is the whole point of single-sex spaces. If we don't do that, they are not single sex and there's no point in having them.

I think many of us could see the glaring flaws in the original letter - there was a thread here pointing them out. Very well done to Jacqui Lewis for spelling them out so clearly and succinctly. I really hope she reads this thread!
