I don't know if anyone has come across this, but Pauline Hanson has tried to move a motion in the Senate to inquire into puberty blockers:

The Green senators mostly respond with emotive replies about "trans kids", "far-right", "suicide" and the "most marginalised and vulnerable". Juding by the comments under the debate the general Australian public are not having it!

(Never thought I'd agree with Senator Hanson more than the Greens!)

The video was from 6 days ago, so it looks like she's trying again. Once again, the Greens and Labor blocked her. The frightening thing is Senator Hanson is simply asking for an enquiry, but her opponents are so ideologically wedded to the idea of "trans kids" that they won't entertain the motion. They're doing the equivalent of sticking their fingers in their ears and going, "La, la, la, I can't hear you!"
