Why would he believe something so preposterous? I don’t think he is a thicko, could it be he is he religious - a believer in miracles or some such thing, so he doesn’t need scientific plausibility before he accepts an idea?

That’s quite a funny column. Makes some reasonable points in a light hearted way. Maybe he’ll resurrect his feud with piers and they’ll go head to head in a live debate about it. Pay per view kind of thing 😁

I think he must be a true believer in ‘innate gender’ - he looks around and sees women scurrying about, doing all the cleaning and tidying, all the caring and grafting, stressing about their appearance and preening and he thinks “I don’t feel like doing any of that. Ever. I could never be a woman”.
