In fairness at least he answers honestly!

This issue of BK in a woman's prison (as well as another violent sex/child assaulting male) has been around for years (he was only sentenced last week), hard to believe our Taoiseach hasn't heard of this before now.

He basically has had to admit that the law on self-ID has to be changed!

It's taken him a LONG time to get his head in the game on this but yes, it's good news

He wasn't able to say 'BK is not a woman', but he was able to agree that ''in principle, violent biological men should not be in a women's prison.''

Keeping some men out of women's prisons could be interpreted as discriminating against others, so this is going to get interesting.

I'm sure that he also believes that in principle families shouldn't be left homeless after eviction and that asylum seekers shouldn't be housed in tents during the coldest days in winter. I'm sure that in principle he's against sin and in favour of motherhood and apple pie.

My faith in Varadkar's principles shrinks with every passing day.
