You’re absolutely right. I misunderstood the point of your OP, thought you were referring to the reporting of it rather than what was actually said in court, hence my post.
But of course I’m 100% with you on this. This part of the ETBB guidance is an outrage and should never have been given the authority it has. (Should never have been introduced!).
And yes, very sad to see the victim herself referring to him as “she”. I suppose we don’t know if that’s because she herself has been sucked into the TWAW mentality - which is entirely possible, especially given she’s a young woman - or if she felt under pressure to do so because everyone else in the court was calling him she.
The court should absolutely have made it clear to her that she was under no obligation to do that. I somehow doubt they did.
